Bright colors in a parallel threading combine to create a shimmering effect in a classic twill.
Designer Linda Riley is fascinated with the interplay of color in warp and weft, especially in multicolored warps and parallel threadings. She spent time weaving and creating her own Corris-effect drafts based on classic twills. This scarf is based on Wall of Troy, an asymmetric twill. To maximize iridescence, Linda selected medium blue, pale lime, and magenta for the three warp colors, and a Tencel weft in peacock.
