The fully reversible linen stitch provides enough structure that this little scarf doesn’t stretch out of shape, but it stays drapey and easy to style. The instructions explain how to make a scarf of any length you’d like, and the stitch pattern works well with everything from silk to linen to wool.
YARN Handspun Hope Wild Borocera Silk DK (100% silk; 109 yd [100 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]; DK weight): Psiadia Leaves (green; A), Onionskin (yellow; B), and Madder Root (orange-pink; C), 1 skein each.
NEEDLES Size 5 (3.75 mm): 32" (80 cm) circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
NOTIONS Waste yarn for provisional CO; tapestry needle; crochet hook (optional).
GAUGE 16 sts and 49 rows = 4" (10 cm) in patt.
FINISHED SIZE 3" (7.5 cm) wide and 57½" (146 cm) long.
