These towels from the Fall 2025 issue are woven using cotton in huck spots. When you’re ready to move on from weaving towels, you can switch to silk in your shuttle and finish off the warp with the Stormy Skies Wrap. Warp: 8/2 cotton (3,360 yd/lb; Maurice Brassard), #4275 Charcoal, 1,260 yd; #5109 Flax and #1244 Olive, 810 yd each; #112 Slate, 855 yd.Weft: Towels: 8/2 cotton, #4275 Charcoal, 847 yd; #5109 Flax, 501 yd; #112 Slate, 566 yd; #1244 Olive, 558 yd. Note: Yardages are approximate and will vary based on weaver’s choice of plaid sequences and lengths.
Weft: Wrap: Hand-dyed 20/2 tussah silk (5,000 yd/lb; Jane Stafford Textiles), Quarry, 1,070 yd

Woven length: (measured under tension on the loom and including header between towels and wrap) 266"
