Rowan, a British yarn company, has been connecting knitters with classic yarns and patterns that evoke visions of long walks in misty pastures for nearly 50 years. In their Fall 2025 issue, Rowan is celebrating one of their oldest yarns, Kid Classic.
Long before the current trend of adding a strand of brushed mohair to any yarn and project to add a hazy, soft finish, Kid Classic was doing just that. Chloe Thurlow’s Devoted cardigan is a great way to add some kid mohair to your cool-weather layers. A strong contrast in the colorwork yoke and the knit/purl texture in the body pair well with the cozy halo of the fabric.
