YARN Brown Sheep Nature Spun (100% wool, 184 yd [168 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]; sportweight); #730 Natural (MC), 3 skeins; #120 Cresting Wave (CC1), #103 Deep Sea (CC2), #720 Ash (CC3), and #N87 Victorian Pink (CC4), 1 skein each.
NEEDLES Size 2 (2.75 mm): set of 5 double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
NOTIONS Stitch markers (m); tapestry needle.
GAUGE 7 sts and 9½ rows = 1" (2.5 cm) in St st.
FINISHED SIZE Foot circumference 8 (8½, 9¼)" (20.5 [21.5,23.5] cm); leg length 14" (35.5 cm) from top of leg to start of heel flap; foot length 9 (9¾, 10¼)" (23 [25, 26] cm) from back of heel to tip of toe (adjustable); to fit women’s U.S. shoe sizes 6½–7½ (8–9, 9½–10½).
