A colorwork yoke is a great way to show off special yarns, whether spun for a self-striping effect or from small samples from dye projects, as knitter Pamela K. Schultz used here. While Sandi Rosner’s original Millefiori pattern called for alternating “flowers” in solid colors, Pamela chose to alternate colors more frequently—both to create a shimmering dimensional effect and to make sure she didn’t run out of her naturally dyed handspun yarn.
In addition to the instructions for the Millefiori pattern, you’ll also find a coloring page so you can get creative with your own colorways!
