PieceWork is pleased to present Victorian Lace: 7 Timeless Projects to Knit, with seven projects from the pages of the Weldon’s series. Our knitters used currently available materials to re-create the projects.

You will enjoy the 7 projects that have been taken from various Weldon’s Volumes. The instructions for all are reproduced exactly as they appeared in the originals; neither corrections nor alterations were made.

• Lady's Fancy Knitted Glove by Audrey Honig Geragosian: Originally published in Weldon’s Practical Needlework, Volume 15, in England in 1900.

• Trellis Stripe for a Quilt by Debbie O'Neill : Originally published in Weldon’s Practical Needlework, Volume 14, in England in 1899.

• Star Pattern d'Oyley by Judy Alexander: Originally published in Weldon’s Practical Needlework, Volume 30, in England in 1915.

• A Knitted Nightcap by Judy Alexander: Originally published in Weldon’s Practical Needlework, Volume 14, in England in 1899.

• Bird's-Eye Lace with Mitred Corner by Ava Coleman: Originally published in Weldon’s Practical Needlework, Volume 22, published in England in 1907.

• Twin Cable Border and Corner by Debbie O'Neill: Originally published in Weldon’s Practical Needlework, Volume 19, in England in 1904.
