This table runner measures 16" × 36" (40.6 × 91.4 cm), with each decorative strip finishing 34" long. When trimming the pieced strips for joining, be sure to leave ¼" seam allowances on each piece. The fabric is 100% cotton broadcloth.
Consider this project an inspiration for exploring the technique; playing with strips of colored paper can be helpful practice before you begin stitching.
