This bag is made of five loosely woven plain-weave squares using three colors of sisal, although any natural plant-fiber yarn can be used as well. The sisal threads are grouped differently from square to square to give each one a different look. Sometimes eight threads alternate with four, sometimes four with four, sometimes the groupings vary within a square.
