In anticipation of the spring opening of her local farmers‘ market, Yvonne designed a lacy bag with a sturdy plain-weave bottom section to safely hold fresh produce. She wove the handles using the same hemp but with a tighter beat for long-lasting wear. This all-hemp bag is machine washable, making it just that much more useful.

An open and airy shawl like this one that transitions seamlessly to a scarf makes the perfect spring party wrap. The Brooks bouquet pattern matched with plain weave creates a balance of laciness and stability as well as a lovely scalloped edge.

Combine light and lacy leno with plain weave to create a stylish bag that only looks delicate. The easy-to-weave leno gives the bag its lighter-than-air appearance, while the plain weave keeps things durable.
