A backyard grove of katsura trees inspired this rigid-heddle-woven scarf. The beautiful trees sport tiny purple buds in spring, transition to green leaves in summer, and put on a spectacular display of bright yellow leaves in fall.
For the colors of her wrap, Rachel looked to lichen, the lovely (and unusual) organisms that grow on tree bark.
