This Japanese-style bento bag is reminiscent of origami folds, and its proper name, azuma bukuro, roughly translates to “good-fortune bag.” The wonderful thing about creating a bento bag is that you only need a square of cloth. This means any size loom will serve you well—even pin-loom squares can be seamed together to make a bento bag! This is a quick project to warp and weave, so the directions are for two bags. If you’re making a bunch for gifts, add 20 inches of warp for each additional bag.
