These kitchen towels were an inspiration from a beautiful view by the lake. Stripes in blue, duck, lavender, and turquoise resemble the blue sky and the surrounding views of summer days relaxing by the lake, while a thin stripe of textured cotton between each color adds a bit of texture.
Towels are like candy for weavers: fun and quick to make, endlessly useful, and a quick way to try a new technique—in this case, simple inlay.
