Weave a basket to hold your knitting projects, the dog’s toys, or the family’s hats and mittens.
Annette Swan Schipf believes that a person can never have too many baskets! She uses them to store knitting projects, papers, yarn—the list is endless. Her friends and family also love them, so baskets make perfect gifts. When designing this basket, she wanted stiff and sturdy fabric, so she narrowed her weaving choices to common rug drafts and landed on krokbragd. A wood base at the bottom and a wire ring at the top give the handwoven basket its form and durability.
